Mayor Proclaims “Precious Life – Celebration of Life Day”
Organization’s Rally to Provide Suicide Prevention Education on March 7

SEGUIN, Texas – Mayor Don Keil has proclaimed Saturday, March 7 as “Precious Life – Celebration of Life Day” in Seguin. The proclamation was presented to the Precious Life Suicide Prevention and Intervention organization on February 17 at City Hall. Representatives from the Seguin Police Department and Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office gathered in support at the presentation.

“Organizations like Precious Life provide vital suicide prevention education programs while providing support for survivors of suicide loss,” Mayor Keil said. “I encourage the community to support this organization’s upcoming rally.”

Precious Life Suicide Prevention and Intervention will hold its 20th Annual Rally for Life from noon – 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 7 at the Seguin Silver Center. The event will include speakers, provide suicide awareness education, depression warning signs and other important educational information.
