Avoid Crowded Parking Lots on Christmas Eve with Connect Seguin
Transit System Route Includes Stops at or Near Several Seguin Retailers

SEGUIN, Texas – Those looking to finish last-minute shopping on Christmas Eve have the free option of avoiding the hassle of crowded parking lots. The City of Seguin is happy to partner with Alamo Regional Transit to offer free Connect Seguin rides on Christmas Eve.

“One of the biggest obstacles of last-minute shopping is crowded retail parking lots,” Seguin Public Information Officer Scott Packard said. “Battling traffic, finding parking and navigating to and from your vehicle is frustrating, time-consuming and sometimes dangerous. Connect Seguin brings you to the doors of several shopping locations, allowing you to avoid the problems of the parking lots.”

Connect Seguin stops at or near several great retailers, including Walmart and the nearby shopping centers, the shops in downtown and the stores in the H-E-B shopping center. The route also stops at the Workforce Center, located within the Seguin Crossroads shopping center. The Plaza Del Rey shopping center is within walking distance of the stop at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center.

“We encourage folks to give Connect Seguin a free try Christmas Eve to see just how useful it can be on a routine basis,” Packard continued. “It’s a convenient and cost effective way to get around town.”
