Several Downtown Streets to Close for Holiday Events
Parade, Other Events Scheduled for December 4, 5 and 6

SEGUIN, Texas – Seguin’s annual holiday events will require the temporary closure of several downtown streets December 4, 5 and 6.

Holiday Stroll Parade, December 4
The Holiday Stroll Parade route follows Austin Street from College to Nolte Streets. This portion of Austin Street will close just prior to the 6:30 p.m. parade start and reopen immediately after its conclusion. Traffic will not be allowed to cross the parade route during the event.

The following streets around Central Park will close at 5 p.m. and reopen shortly after 8:30 p.m. for the lighting of the park ceremony:
• River Street between Court and Nolte Streets
• Donegan Street between Austin and Crockett Streets
• Nolte Street between Austin and Crockett Streets

Sip ‘n Stroll, December 5
The following streets around Central Park will close at 5 p.m. and reopen shortly after 8:30 p.m. for the Sip ‘n Stroll event:
• River Street between Court and Nolte Streets
• Donegan Street between Austin and Crockett Streets
• Nolte Street between Austin and Crockett Streets

North Pole Stroll, December 6
The following streets around Central Park will close at 9:30 a.m. and reopen shortly after 4 p.m. for the North Pole Stroll:
• Donegan Street between Austin and River Streets
• Nolte Street between Austin and River Streets

Pedestrian traffic will be heavy for all events. Drivers are encouraged to exercise extra caution while driving in the area during the events.
