Additional Public Input Sought for Skate Park Design
Online Input Accepted Through September 30

SEGUIN, Texas – The City of Seguin is extending the opportunity for the public to provide input on the design of the new skate park. Two online input options are available through September 30.

“We had a great turnout at the public input meeting earlier this month,” Seguin Parks and Recreation Director Jack Jones said. “Now there’s an opportunity for those who may not have made it out to the meeting to have their say in the design of the new skate park.”

The first online input option is available via the popular survey website Survey Monkey. Those wishing to provide input may go to surveymonkey.com/s/seguinskateparksurvey and fill out the provided survey.

The second option for online input is available through the New Line Skate Parks website. Participants should follow these instructions:

• Step 1
o Go to http://www.newlineskateparks.com and click the “forum” icon near the top right corner of the page.
o Click the “register” icon on the right side of the page.
o Read the terms and create a username and password following the instructions provided.
o Once a username and password is created users will receive a confirmation email.
• Step 2
o Go back to the website and click on the “Forum” icon near the top right corner.
o Provide username and password to log in.
o On the forum main page click “Seguin Skate Park” forum and enter the password sk8seguin (all lower case).
o User is now able to access to the forum to create, read and reply to posts

“This is a good way for the people who will use this skate park to have a say in the design,” Jones continued. “We’re interested in hearing the amenities and features local skaters would like to see included.”
