City of Seguin Proclaims “IHOP’s National Pancake Day and Shriners Hospitals for Children Day”
March 4th Event Raises Money for Shriners Hospitals for Children

SEGUIN, Texas – Seguin Mayor Don Keil has proclaimed Tuesday, March 4th, 2014 as “IHOP’s National Pancake Day and Shriners Hospitals for Children Day.” Members of the Alzafar Shriners gathered with Mayor Keil Wednesday, February 26, 2014 for the official proclamation.

“It is an honor for our city to participate in an event that raises money for such a great cause,” Mayor Keil said. “This would not be possible without IHOP’s commitment to serving the community.”
The International House of Pancakes location in Seguin (2777 North State Highway 123 Bypass) will offer each guest a free short stack (three pancakes) of their buttermilk pancakes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m on March 4th, 2014. In return, IHOP encourages each guest to make a donation of their choice to Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Since beginning National Pancake Day in 2006, IHOP locations across the country have given way nearly 22 million pancakes and raised $13 million for charity.
