Celebrate Seguin's 178th birthday August 12th!
“We feel it is important to have a celebration for Seguin as it was founded in 1838 during the early beginning days of The Republic of Texas. We sit in the cradle of so much Texas history!” said Marty Keil, Seguin Conservation Society.
The best part – Seguin has invited everyone to celebrate with a birthday celebration. Join the Conservation Society on Friday, August 12th from 5:30 to 8 P.M. at the 1st Church/Campbell-Hoermann Log Cabin Complex at 200 East Live Oak Street.
Barbecue dinner and refreshments are available for purchase. You can also enter your secret recipe for homemade ice cream. Entries must be submitted by 5 P.M. Just contact Kay Martin at 830-305-2482 to enter.
“Seguin is a real Texas town thanks to the hard work, dedication and love of so many. 178 years strong!” said Marty Keil.
Plan to join your neighbors for an old-fashioned community birthday party and celebrate what makes Seguin a REAL great place to live… 178 years and counting!###
