Mayor joins community in day of prayer
“Thank you for coming out on this beautiful day, in our real town center, to pray for our country, state and thriving city,” said Mayor Keil.
Keil read the proclamation out loud to the crowd, “… We send a message to all people everywhere that we are united as a nation and as people and as people of God.”
After the proclamation, the crowd sang the National Anthem and recited the Pledge of Allegiance. That was followed by prayers on a variety of topics affecting our community.
