Since 1984, National Night Out has been enhancing relationships between the community and law enforcement while providing a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together.
National Night Out celebrates our Police - Community Partnerships. The Seguin Police Department is committed to community involvement that must include you, the community.
The goal of National Night Out is to:
- Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness
- Generate support for local anti-crime efforts
- Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships
- Send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back
National Night Out will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. On National Night Out, neighborhoods across the nation host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and other various community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel and exhibits.
