Capital Projects: Those which relate to constructing or improving the City's infrastructure, resulting in the creation or enhancement of an existing infrastructure asset.

College Street Reconstruction

The project is tentative to request engineering services Fall/Winter 2022

Cordova Road Reconstruction

The project awarded through the Alamo Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (AAMPO) to Guadalupe County and the City of Seguin consists of two east and west lanes, a continuous median, signalization and realignment of Cordova Road at State Highway 46 and bicycle and pedestrian amenities. Request for Engineering Services is tentative for the Fall/Winter 2022. Construction tentative for 2024.

Martindale Road Realignment

The project currently in design with the developer and is tentative for construction in late 2022.

Mesquite Street Extension

The project is currently in design by Doucet and Associates and consists of extending Mesquite Street north of Austin Street to just north of Starcke Street.

Milam Street Drainage, Utility & Street

The project is currently in design by TRC includes the area from Mountain Street to Kingsbury Street with improvements for storm drainage, sewer, street reconstruction and sidewalk amenities. Construction is tentative for Fall/Winter 2022.

Rudeloff Road, Phase I (SH 46 to Huber - East of Softball Fields)

The project awarded by the Alamo Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (AAMPO) and partially funded through the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is currently in design by BGE, Inc. Design includes widening the road to five lanes, street, drainage and sidewalk improvements. Tentative construction Fall/Winter 2022.

Rudeloff Road, Phase II (Huber Road to SH 123 at FM 20)

Awarded by the Alamo Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (AAMPO) and partially funded through the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), the project is proposing to extend Rudeloff Road from Huber Road to SH 123. Design has been awarded to BGE, Inc.

Walnut Springs Trail Extension (Convent to Max Starcke Park East)

The project partially funded through TxDOT as part of the Alamo Area MPO and designed by TRC, has been awarded to Myers Concrete Construction, LP. Improvements includes the extension of the Walnut Springs Trail from the Ruby P. Vaughan Bridge on Convent Street south to Max Starcke Park East to include a sub-grade crossing under the South Austin bridge. Construction is in progress.

Walnut Branch Sanitary Sewer Phase II (Library to Max Starcke Park East)

The project designed by TRC and awarded to SJ Louis, Inc., will include replacing the sanitary sewer line located in Walnut Branch from West Nolte Street to the Wastewater Treatment Facility. Construction is in progress.

Walnut Branch Sanitary Sewer Phase III (West Kingsbury Street to New Braunfels Street)

The project is currently in design by TRC will include approximately 3,400 linear feet of 30-inch diameter gravity sewer main within Walnut Branch extending from the north side of West Kingsbury Street to New Braunfels Street (north side of the railroad). Construction is tentative for 2023.

Walnut Branch Sanitary Sewer Phase IV (Court Street to Nolte Street)

The project is currently in design by RPS will include approximately 1,810 linear feet of 30" sanitary sewer gravity main along Walnut Branch, beginning approximately 250 feet north of Court Street and ending approximately 600 feet south of Nolte Street. Construction is tentative for Fall/Winter 2022.
