TexShare

TexShare is a cooperative program designed to improve library service to Texans. TexShare members include public libraries that belong to regional library systems, academic libraries, and libraries of clinical medicine. This cooperative enables libraries to offer a broader range of materials and services than any single library can provide for its constituents. The Seguin Public Library is part of the TexShare program. The library provides access to the TexShare Databases, offers TexShare cards to Guadalupe County residents, and accepts TexShare cards from participating libraries.

TexShare Databases

Licensed exclusively for patrons at TexShare libraries, these electronic reference resources offer authoritative, full-text articles from verifiable, subscription-only sources. Find e-Books, magazine articles, newspapers, and much more.

TexShare Card

With a TexShare Card, a Seguin Public Library customer may directly borrow books, music, movies and more from any other participating TexShare library, just as if he or she were card-holder there.

Non-Guadalupe County residents with TexShare cards from another library may apply for a Seguin Public Library regular card. Non-Guadalupe County residents must apply and renew in person and provide a current TexShare card from the home library.  For more information check the Library's TexShare Cardholders section.
