Chess Club

Chess Club meets on the 1st Wednesday of the month. For the summer months, meeting times are at 3 p.m. During the school year, meetings are held at 4:30 p.m.

Chess Club is designed to be an informal learning experience, so there is not a lot of instruction, although we plan to use some of the lessons that come with our paid Chess.com membership. Kids and teens are encouraged to learn from each other and are coached to have good sportsmanship, etiquette, and given technical suggestions.
