Clean-Up Day

The city's free clean-up day is held twice a year, once in the spring, once in the fall. Clean-Up Days are held in the parking lot of the Seguin Coliseum, located at 950 S. Austin Street, from 8 am to noon on the day of the event.

• Spring Clean-Up Day is Saturday, April 22, 2023
• Fall Clean-Up Day is Saturday, September 30, 2023

Seguin citizens residing within city limits are encouraged to bring unwanted items from around the home for free disposal at the Seguin Events Complex (Coliseum) parking lot. Participants must show a photo ID or utility bill to prove they reside within city limits. City employees will be available to assist residents in unloading vehicles and trailers.

Automobile tires (limit of 10) will be accepted. No tractor-trailer, mower, bicycle, and ATV tires will be collected. Tires with rims or tires larger than 19.5 inches are not allowed. Tires from local businesses will not be accepted.

Paper shredding will also be available as a free service at the event. Residents are encouraged to bring any documents containing sensitive information for secure on-site shredding and disposal. Limit of 2 boxes or bags of items will be accepted for shredding.

Brush, hazardous chemicals or waste, construction or building debris, plywood, treated wood items, old fences, sheds, or torn down building materials WILL NOT be accepted. Appliances with Freon or other refrigerants are not allowed.

Accepted Items:

• Junk disposal
• Scrap metal
• Appliances (w /o Freon)
• Maximum of 10 automobile tires (no larger than 19.5")
• Paper shredding

Not Accepted:

• Hazardous material or chemicals
• Brush/Limbs
• Fences, sheds, construction materials, or debris
• Appliances with Freon
• Tractor, mover, bike, or ATV tires
• No tires from local businesses
