Each year the Seguin Commission on the Arts presents awards to the Youth Artist of the Year, Art Organization of the Year, and Outstanding Contributor to the Arts.
One of the important roles of the Seguin Commission on the Arts is to promote and recognize local artists and organizations who support the arts.

The Commission annually presents the Art Organization of the Year to a local organization that has supported and helped to grow the arts in Seguin.
