Meeting Spaces
- The Seguin Public Library has rooms available for individuals, groups and organizations in conformance with the Library’s mission to provide educational, informational, and recreational resources to patrons of all ages, cultural and economic backgrounds.
- The Library has one Community Meeting Room, two Conference Rooms and Seven Study Rooms.
- The Library has audiovisual equipment for use free of charge, subject to availability. Limited assistance with equipment supplied by the Library may be available. The Library cannot provide operators for equipment not supplied by the Library.

- The Library has one Community Meeting Room located at the first floor. The meeting space capacity is 128. There are 180 chairs and 28 tables available.
- Reservations for the Meeting Room will be handled on a first come, first served basis. Reservations are not finalized until the application form and the deposit is received and approved by library staff. You will receive a reservation confirmation by email.
- Reservations may be made up to three (3) months in advance and Groups and/or businesses are limited to 2 meetings per month for no more than 2 consecutive days per meeting.
- A reservation application must be completed for each meeting date.
- Food is not permitted. Drinks (water, sodas, tea, coffee, and sports drinks) are allowed, but must be covered with secure tops. Red, blue, or purple drinks are not allowed.
- The Meeting Room is equipped with a mounted projector and screen that can be used for presentations. Customers must submit an Agreement to Use Equipment Form (PDF) to use the equipment. It is the responsibility of the applicant to verify prior to the meeting that the system requirements for equipment use are met.
- Completed Community Meeting Room Reservation Application (PDF) forms can be emailed or returned in person at the Library.
- The Library has two Conference Rooms. The First Floor Conference Room seats 22 and the Second Floor Conference Room seats 16.
- Reservations for the Conference Rooms will be handled on a first come, first served basis. Reservations are not finalized until the application form and the deposit (if applicable) is received and approved by library staff. You will receive a reservation confirmation by email.
- Reservations may be made up to three (3) months in advance and are limited to five (5) meetings per month.
- A reservation application must be completed for each meeting date.

- The Conference Rooms are equipped with 55" wall mounted smart HDTVs that can be used for presentations. Must submit an Agreement to Use Equipment Form (PDF) to use the equipment.

- The Library has seven Study Rooms. The first floor has 3 Study Rooms and the second floor has 4 Study Rooms. All Study Rooms seat a max of 4 people.
- Study Rooms are glass enclosed and are available for collaborative use, small meetings or studying.
- The Rooms come equipped with dry erase marker board walls to provide a hub for creativity and study. We have dry erase kits for use. An Agreement to Borrow Equipment Form must be completed to borrow the dry erase kits.
- Reservations for Study Rooms will be handled on a first come, first served basis. Reservations are not finalized until the form is received and approved by library staff.
- Reservations may be made up to one (1) month in advance.
- Effective April 10, 2022, individuals/groups/organizations are limited to four (4) days per week and up to four (4) hours per day.
- A reservation application is only valid for the calendar month of the first meeting date.
- Only light refreshments or snacks are permitted in the study rooms and foods with strong odors and/or staining capabilities are not permissible. All drinks must be covered with secure tops.

In addition to the Community meeting room, Conference Room and Study Rooms, the library also has available smaller collaborative spaces available. These spaces are available on a first come, first served basis. They do not have time limits.
