Event Postponed - The Wilcox Ranch Legacy and the Importance of Documenting Your History

Kelly “Lola” Wilcox Moore will share the history of the Wilcox Ranch, the oldest and last African American owned ranch in Jakes Colony, a Friedman’s Settlement in Seguin and her efforts to preserve the legacy of the Ranch through her Legacy Restoration Project, as well as discuss the importance of preserving history and share techniques on how to start documenting your personal history. 

The first 20 people to register for the program will receive a free Legacy Restoration Project notebook to use to start their storytelling journey.
