How many people can this location accommodate?
1,200 guests for theatre style seating; 1,000 for banquet seating; less if dance floor is requested.
How long are you able to have the room?
Coliseum rental hours available are from 7 a.m. - 12 midnight with cleanup allowed until 1 a.m.
What is the total cost of rental?
Our rates depend on the day of the week and number of attendees.
How many hours does the rental fee include? Is there an overtime fee if I stay longer?
Coliseum fees are for up to a 12-hour continuous rental. Additional hours can be purchased.
Are there changing areas for the bride, groom, and/or wedding party?
Yes, two dressing rooms are available and included in the rental fee.
Are there decorating restrictions?
Yes. Driving of nails, tacks, staples or screws into floors, walls, columns, partitions ceilings are not allowed. The use of stickers, tape, fabric glue, or other adhesives is also prohibited. See Terms and Conditions for more information.
Does the Coliseum provide in-house catering?
No, however, we do not have any restrictions on your choice of caterer.
What about alcohol and bar service?
The City's contracted concessionaire must provide alcoholic beverages including keg beer and wine. No outside alcohol is allowed.
Is there a sound system in the Coliseum? Speakers, microphones, etc.?
Yes, a PA System can be made available for a $50 fee.
Are security services required? If so, how do I go about hiring security?
Yes, the exact number of security officers will be determined and scheduled by the Events Complex Coordinator in conjunction with the Seguin Police Department.
If the date I want is available, can it be held for my event?
In order to secure the date, a signed agreement along with payment of damage deposit and half of rental is required.
Are there overnight accommodations or does the Coliseum partner with local hotels?
