NEA Big Read
- Funded by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), the Big Read program broadens the understanding of the world, neighbors, and ourselves through books. Showcasing a diverse range of themes, voices, and perspectives, the NEA Big Read aims to inspire meaningful conversations, artistic responses, and new discoveries and connections in each community.
- The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) has awarded Texas Lutheran University an $11,000 grant to lead the first-ever Big Read Seguin.
- NEA Big Read Seguin features book titles Heartland: A Memoir of Working Hard and Being Broke in the Richest Country on Earth by Sarah Smarsh, Spare Parts: Four Undocumented Teenagers, One Ugly Robot, and the Battle for the American Dream by Josh Davis, and Dreamers/Soñadores by Yuyi Morales.
