Postponed Central Park Concert Series show set for Sunday
SEGUIN, Texas – Seguin has no shortage of talented individuals and shining stars, and Natalie Rose is an excellent example of the talent in our community. She will perform at a free concert in Central Park on Sunday, July 26 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Rose was originally scheduled to perform as part of the Central Park Summer Concert Series on June 14, but due to inclement weather, the concert was cancelled and rescheduled for this Sunday.
Born and raised in Seguin, Rose started performing as a child and has been gaining state-wide attention since starting her band three years ago at the age of 17. Recently Rose was nominated for the best new female vocalist of the year from the Texas Regional Radio Music Awards.
Rose grew up listening to country legends like Reba, Martina, Dolly, and Patsy and they have become influences in her own music. “My music is a little bit of all of them combined with my own style,” said Rose.
Come hungry to the concert as hot dogs, hamburgers, and cold drinks will be available from Scout Troop 107. The concession sales help support the group’s camping activities. The girl scouts will also be there selling baked goods. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs or blankets and a beverage of choice.
