Seguin Fire Chief Elected to State Association’s Executive Board
Chief Skinner Serving as South Region Director of Texas Fire Chiefs Association

SEGUIN, Texas – Seguin Fire/EMS Chief Dale Skinner is now serving on the executive board of the Texas Fire Chiefs Association. Skinner was elected South Region Director by his peers during the association’s February meeting.

“I am proud and humbled to be elected by my fire chief peers to serve this important role with TFCA,” Chief Skinner said. “I’m passionate about bringing people together to form solutions that will strengthen relationships with the various groups and organizations surrounding the fire service.”

TFCA consists of 1,160 chiefs representing 648 fire departments across the state. Chief Skinner’s South Region consists of 29 counties.

“The Texas Fire Chiefs Association believes in serving the citizens of Texas by actively participating in the advancement of the fire service through positive leadership, the sharing of information, and active legislative involvement, while maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards,” the association says on its website.

Skinner has served as chief of Seguin Fire/EMS since December 2012 and has more than 25 years of professional fire service experience.
