Trench Repair to Close 1200 Block of Guadalupe Street
Closure Starts Thursday, Expected to Last Two Days

SEGUIN, Texas – A trench failure in the 1200 block of N. Guadalupe Street will necessitate the closure of that portion of the street beginning Thursday morning. The repair is anticipated to take two days to complete.

The Streets and Water/Wastewater Departments will wait until 9 a.m. Thursday, when morning school traffic subsides, to close the street.

Traffic heading north on Guadalupe Street will be detoured onto Ave B, to Ball Street, to Kingsbury Street then back to Guadalupe Street. Traffic heading south on Guadalupe Street will detour onto Kingsbury, to Ball Street, to Cedar Street then back to Guadalupe Street.

As soon as the excavation is completed, traffic control will be reconfigured to allow two-way traffic flow on Guadalupe Street.

The City of Seguin thanks drivers for their patience as we make this needed repair.
