Fireworks Unlawful within Seguin City Limits
Violators May be Fined

SEGUIN, Texas – The City of Seguin wants to remind residents about the law surrounding fireworks within city limits.

The sale, possession and use of fireworks within the city limits of the City of Seguin is unlawful. Violators may be fined up to $2,000. A relatively new Texas law allows fireworks to be transported into cities where they are unlawful, however the fireworks must not be accessible to anybody in the vehicle, must be packaged, unopened and put in something along the lines of a locked glove box, trunk or cargo area.

The City of Seguin wishes you and your family a happy and healthy new year.
