Free Christmas Tree Recycling Available
Trees May Also be Placed Out with Garbage

SEGUIN, Texas – The City of Seguin provides residents a free way to recycle live Christmas trees. The brush department will mulch trees that are placed out for routine brush collection. The trees will be picked up on residents’ designated brush collection week.

Trees must be free from plastic bags, stands, decorations and lights before they will be collected. No artificial trees will be accepted. As always, free mulch is available at 634 Fred Byrd Drive between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Trees may also be placed out with residential garbage. Trees longer than 4-feet must be cut in half. Stands, decorations and lights must be removed.

Questions may be directed to the Citizen Relations Coordinator at (830) 401-2445.
