Financial Education Series at the Library
SEGUIN, Texas –Join us at the Library for a series of special Finance Literacy programs during the months of September and October. The workshops are designed to help consumers make informed decisions about their personal finances.
“Financial literacy can be an intimidating topic to learn, so our hope is that the Financial Education Series will provide a great opportunity for consumers to learn more about managing their personal finances from experts” said Silvia Christy, Assistant Library Director.
The educational events will cover a wide variety of money-management topics including saving money and building wealth, money management, social security and credit.
The first workshop in the series will be on Tuesday, September 26th from 1:00-2:00 pm in the Community Meeting Room. Special speaker, Brett Pittsenbargar, member of The Society for Financial Awareness will talk aboutFinancial Blunders - Lessons We Never Learn.
