Mayor Signs Proclamations for Child Abuse Prevention, Sexual Assault Awareness & Prevention and Crime Victims' Rights Week
SEGUIN, Texas –On Thursday, April 4, Mayor Don Keil signed 3 proclamations on behalf of the City: one proclaiming the month of April as Child Abuse Prevention Month; one proclaiming the month of April as Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month; and one proclaiming April 7-13, 2019 as Crime Victims’ Rights Week in the City of Seguin.
Representatives from the Seguin Police Department, Texas Lutheran University, Child Protective Services, Guadalupe Valley Family Violence Shelter, CASA, Rotary Club and Guadalupe County Children's Advocacy Center were on hand for the proclamation ceremonies.
