City Collecting Live Christmas Trees

SEGUIN, Texas – The City of Seguin is collecting live Christmas trees. No artificial trees will be collected. Christmas trees will be collected in one of two ways:

Regular Garbage Collection:

  • Christmas trees will be collected on residents’ regular trash collection day.
  • Stands, lights, ornaments and other decorations MUST be removed, and the tree must be cut in half before it will be collected.

Brush Collection:

  • Residents can also place their tree by the curb and it will be collected as part of the City’s brush collection rotation.
  • Christmas trees must be placed at the curb on Monday morning of your designated week to ensure pick-up.
  • All ornaments, lights, stands and other decorations MUST be removed before it will be collected.
