Schertz/Seguin Local Government Corporation Announces Appointment of Operations Manager
SEGUIN, Texas – Amber Briggs Beard, General Manager of the Schertz/Seguin Local Government Corporation (SSLGC), is pleased to announce that James “Kevin” Fetterman has been hired as the SSLGC Operations Manager.
Fetterman brings over 19 years of experience in water treatment and distribution to SSLGC.
Prior to joining SSLGC, Fetterman served in various roles at the City of Austin including Treatment Superintendent, Construction Superintendent, and Pumping & Distribution Supervisor. Prior to working in Austin, Kevin drilled oil and gas wells for 20 years.
“Kevin’s experience and knowledge will be a great addition to the SSLGC team,” said Beard.
Fetterman holds an "A" Water License from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. He serves as a Board Member of Harley’s Wallet, a nonprofit organization that helps children with cancer and blindness.
The SSLGC is a partnership between the cities of Schertz and Seguin producing and supplying water to their two cities as well as the cities of Selma, Universal City and to the Springs Hill Water Supply Corporation.
