Public hearing set for proposed RV regulations

SEGUIN, Texas – A public hearing is set for Tuesday, December 8, 2015 to discuss possible regulations for short-term RV stays on vacant riverfront properties located in the floodway.

The proposed regulations address frequency and duration of stays, eligibility of lots, RV requirements, and permitting requirements.

The public hearing will be held during the regularly scheduled Planning and Zoning Commission meeting held in the Seguin City Council Chambers at 5:30 pm.  The agenda item will be for discussion only.

During the hearing, city staff will make a presentation, and ask for input from the public.  Planning Director Pamela Centeno reiterates that this will not be the only public hearing on this subject. She says the commission will schedule future hearings before any action is taken.

For more information about the draft regulations please contact the Planning Department at 830-401-2305.
